La Capitale was created by Chris Maurice for Xerjoff in 2018. The fragrance was originally conceived as a homage to Moscow— "the capital," where Eastern and Western culture, tradition and modernity collide. The fragrance is correspondingly rich in contrast: juicy and fruity in the opening, with a refined and velvety finish.
The opening features peach , strawberry , and caramel , refined with saffron and rose . The heart brings elegant amber and leather notes , while the base notes of benzoin , vanilla , and labdanum create a soft, gourmand finish.
