More about the fragrance
Angélique Noire was created in 2005 by Daniela Andrier for Guerlain’s collection L'Art & La Matière composed. The idea: the “angel plant” Angelica – actually green, bitter and aromatic – with vanilla to create a fragrance that hovers between light and shadow.
The opening brings fresh bergamot and juicy pear . The heart features contrasting angelica – green, slightly aniseed, almost herbal. The base is a gentle embrace of vanilla , tonka and cedarwood , which allows the fragrance to fade away softly.
